UTS Careers is excited to share updates on our inclusive, accessible and student-centred career resources designed to support all students, including international students and students with accessibility requirements. This is a continuous, collaborative effort involving staff, experts in the various areas, industry, and most importantly, students.
We are still developing other resources to add to the site and working on improving accessibility on CareerHub. We are learning as we go, and welcome your feedback.
Tailored hubs for our diverse communities
Students’ career journeys can be shaped by identity, experiences, and values. Many students belong to more than one community, and these diverse perspectives are strengths. Our tailored hubs are organised by student groups to make it easy to find resources, with useful guidance and stories across multiple sections.
The International Student Career Hub provides our international students with tailored resources, job opportunities, professional development programs, and community activities to help them build skills valued by employers.

The Inclusive Career Hub offers resources, tools, programs, and career insights tailored to different student groups, including curated information for LGBTQIA+ students, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) students, Indigenous students, and students living with disability. Students can explore the group that best fits them or navigate guidance across multiple sections.

Accessible guides to suit individual needs
Our UTS Careers – Guides cover all kinds of career-related activities, including showcasing work in a portfolio, getting started on LinkedIn, networking, resume and cover letter-writing, and navigating psychometric tests and other common assessment activities in job application processes.
These resources are now available in both PDF and Word formats. Students can choose the version that best suits their preferences or assistive technology requirements.
- Word documents – ideal for screen readers, assistive technology, or for students who prefer to take notes and interact directly with the content.
- PDFs – visually designed for easier reading and quick reference.
Following inclusive design principles, each guide includes a landing page that provides a clear overview of key content areas and allows students to choose the version that works best for them.
Know some students who should be connected?
We encourage you to share these hubs with students to ensure they have easy access to reliable, inclusive and accessible career resources. When sharing, please share the direct link to the hubs rather than linking to individual pages and resources to give students the opportunity to explore and access the content that’s most relevant to them.
Thank you to all the staff who contributed through consultations or provided feedback on these resources – your input has been invaluable in making these hubs and guides truly inclusive.
