Are you an academic or professional staff member looking to enhance your skills in course design? The Teaching Learning & Curriculum Team in the Education Portfolio invite you to join the Course Design subject as a non-award participant.

What to expect

Commencing on Monday 5 May, this 6-week fully online self-paced subject offers a comprehensive overview of key activities to create and maintain a course in higher education, with a special focus on curriculum. Courses are routinely reviewed for continuous improvement as part of quality learning and teaching.

This subject will equip you with the knowledge and skills to evaluate and enhance your course design by aligning the intended learning aims, activities, and assessment with student experiences. It will give you insights into UTS course design systems & processes to enable you to integrate elements that meet university requirements and add value to your teaching and learning.  

During the 6 weeks, there are opportunities for you to engage with hot topics in the sector, connect with and learn from peers across faculties, and grow your local networks. 

How to enrol

The deadline to enrol is Monday 28 April (non-award only).

This course is fee-free to UTS staff, including casual academics and HDR students teaching in subjects. Submit your application via the UTS Student Portal using a non-UTS email addressYou will then be issued with a UTS student email address to access the Canvas site.
