11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Please join us for the upcoming webinar for new users to introduce the Subject Dashboard. It draws from Student 360, a powerful warehouse storing and displaying CASS data, and is daily updated.
The Subject Dashboard displays cohort data in subjects (summary, enrolment, past results) in easy-to-read infographics. Subject coordinators have automatic access to their subject or set of subjects in a particular session. Course coordinators can request from the team at DAIU via IT Service Connect (see more info at Student 360 Overview.) Note: The Subject Dashboard is NOT part of the Canvas LMS, at this stage.
The dashboard is designed to flesh out the MSA+ files for individual subject, and includes percentage commencing, repeat students, entry pathways, degrees and majors, gender, age groups, English language, citizenship and more; displays enrolment changes and results by pass grades for the different cohorts. The data is presented across the current year and two preceding years.
The webinar will be a hand-on session for subject coordinators to explore their own subject dashboard. Past users find it a very simple interface to use and review the impact of their curriculum changes.
A second part of the webinar will be some case studies, where staff use the tool to support subject design, both current and in the future.
For background, past webinars (with case studies) can be found int this series of blogs
