If you think MOOCs have disappeared, think again! MOOC enrolments have grown exponentially in the half decade they have been around, reaching 78 million in 2016. Established universities and venture capitalists are continuing to pour money into these ventures, so it seems they’re not disappearing any time soon. If you know nothing about MOOCs, are curious about how they can be used for professional development, teaching and edutainment, or their potential to disrupt the 1000 year old model of higher education, join Adrian Norman from IML and the Science of Learning Research Centre for an informal presentation and discussion on the MOOC phenomenon.
