    Hi Ken,

Under the ‘Data presentation – Figures and Tables’ section in the Lab manual, one of the checklist items states ‘do the mean data have standard deviation values shown? are the number of experiments or replicates mentioned in the legend?’

Are we supposed to list the values for standard deviations? and if so, where in the report?
Additionally, where do we mention the number of replicates? This is because for each graph legend I’ve put only ‘group’ and ‘cohort’ as the legend names on each graph. there isn’t much room to put replicate number and it doesn’t make sense to put it on the graph legend

Also, is the report 7 pages including the references or excluding the references? my lab demonstrator said 7 pages excluding references however, in the lab manual it says 7 pages including references.

Are we allowed to write less than 7 pages?

Point 1 in the requirements states that is should be no more than 7 pages (this includes everything). You only have standard deviations for last years data and you can show this on your sigmoidal plot. When you use your own data you don’t have enough replicates to get a standard deviation. You don’t actually have replicates from last year but it would be around 50.
