ParticipantDoes anyone have / could share the calculations for converting % w/v to mg/Kg using the average weight of the cockroaches. I wrote the flow chart down but i must have missed something along the way and i am throughly confused where the cockroach weight fits into it all.

ParticipantHi Samuel,
You add it in once it’s at mg/ul. For example, the one we went through was 0.00028mg/uL which would mean that it’s the same as 0.00028mg/cockroach weight (we had 0.1g), then you convert to mg/ kg.May 24, 2018 at 11:26 pm #44136Ken Rodgers
KeymasterThanks Samira. I have put a sample calculation in the LD50 resources folder for anyone that didn’t fully understand it in the labs.
