    Hi Sir

Our group data wasn’t what was expected (all our cockroaches survived with the highest conc. of Propoxur). in this case, do we average ONLY the cockroach deaths of other groups in our class for every conc. of Propoxur? and do we exclude our groups data in the calculation or include our data?

    thank you

What was your group name Pinithi?
If your data is so crazy try and explain what might have gone wrong. Leave your data out but use all the other data from that group on the day along with your cockroach weights to get something to plot.

Our group name was ‘GM’, and we were group 3 Friday 9am held on the 11th of May.
Just to clarify ken – do I leave out the 0.1% cockroach death result (which was the only strange result), and if so, do I use the average deaths the other groups in my class got for that conc.?

    Hi Pinithi.
If I was you I would take the 0.1% as 100% deaths based on the rest of the class and just explain that this was obviously an error in the way you performed the experiment. Not sure what would have happened since the other data lokks good.
