Following the recent 2023 WIL symposium which invited presentations from across faculties to share their WIL education practices; this Professional Education and Practice Network (PEPN) meeting is putting the spotlight on researching WIL Experiences. We warmly invite everybody to engage with two UTS WIL research exemplars.
Come along to learn what your colleagues have explored about WIL experiences and enjoy opportunities for dialogue, feedback and learning for your WIL practices.

Research Title: Shifting paradigms through transdisciplinary engagement: How WIL can benefit partner organisations
While the value of WIL for students and universities have been extensively explored, this study examines the often overlooked partner perspective. Using a transdisciplinary WIL project, our study employs practice theory and mutual learning frameworks to analyse how engagement with WIL facilitated professional learning within partner organisations. Through this, the study redefines WIL as an avenue for professional learning among partners, alongside its established benefits for students and universities.
