- Tuesday, 6 August 2019
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm - LX.lab CB06.04.020
The Augmented Reality (AR) workshop explores what AR is and provides a high level overview of how you could deploy your own basic AR app.
There will be demos of student projects that we’ve developed at the UTS Animal Logic Academy which incorporate AR. Some of these projects include an AR-based multiplayer educational history game for primary school students called “Xploro” and also “RearWindows” which is a proof of concept prototype that combines both VR and AR with a real physical set that can also be explored in VR.
You’ll also be able to try out the Microsoft Hololens, an interactive AR headset and explore the use cases with the Hololens.
