Learn how to use compelling academic podcasts, made right here at UTS, as a tool in the classroom. Together with 2ser Radio, the Business School produces a podcast called Think Business Futures to highlight academic work. In this half hour presentation, we’ll show you how to easily incorporate podcasts like Think Business Futures into your existing course material.
Why should you do this?
Podcasts have exploded in popularity over the past few years. According to an ABC survey in 2017, over 50% of Australians between the ages of 18-75 have listened to podcast. In fact, the highest proportion of podcast listeners are between the ages of 18-24. UTS faculty have amazing access to the educational potential of podcasting right here on campus, through 2ser Radio. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:
– link to a podcast in your course outline
– embed a podcast player in your course material or website
– design questions and exercises based on material in a podcast episode
Delivered by:
