Research and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. The combination of the skillsets and experiences from each can propel you towards any career pathway. Whether you want to commercialise your research, increase its impact, become an academic, develop yourself professionally, launch a business or innovate from within an organisation, entrepreneurship skills are going to be useful for whichever path you pursue.

To help you develop this skillset, UTS Startups is running a second Design Thinking for Researchers Bootcamp for 2019!

This two-day program is designed to equip UTS researchers, research students and academic staff with foundational entrepreneurship tools and methods that can be applied to their research, and encourage new ways of thinking about research and its impact. You will work with other researchers to apply these entrepreneurship methods to a provided real-world problem, and then work with the facilitator to reflect on your next steps so that you can apply what you’ve learnt to your own research.
