Please join us for the final First and Further Year Experience (FFYE) Forum for 2020 focused on professional practice inside and outside classrooms, in curricula and co-curricula spaces. In this Forum, we will explore how we design in practices that foster and support students’ aspirational personal and professional goals to make a difference to society, by asking the questions:

  • How do we engage students to cross boundaries and build connections from first year?
  • How do we develop students’ professional identity and agency?
  • How do we discuss ethical/professional, disciplinary, inter/transdisciplinary and socio-cultural values?

The forum will attempt to address these questions through big picture thinking and five practice-based case studies. Your own experience is important in this discussion; we will use small breakout room activities to share and learn from each other.

We invite academics, professional student support staff and students to register for this forum. The wider community within UTS are also encouraged to come.

Please join us for this final FFYE forum of 2020.

For those outside UTS, please email Kathy.Egea@uts.edu.au.
