Sorry I missed your ACID response to Shenton there! Welcome to the club of wonderful scholars – many from our group this year – who find triangulation a slippery and troubling idea! And to the club of equally wonderful people who think member checking needs to be thought through really careful, as it may be problematic for a number of reasons, including those of data corruption that you raise.
