Welcome to Designing Research Lab! #drlabuts

This subject is delivered through four face to face blocks, blended with online interaction, feeds and resources through this website.

The block dates for 2019 are 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th August (all Fridays). This gives us some intensive time together, but a nice long tail in which to work on developing your ideas and proposals (during which time Nick will be available for online support and the discussion boards will all still be going).

Venue

MSA+ tells me: “Location: CB10.04.460 (23/8-30/8), CB11.05.102+104 (9/8-16/8)”

My interpretation of this is that:

Friday 9th August we are in CB11.05.102+104
Friday 16th August we are in CB11.05.102+104
Friday 23rd August we are in CB10.04.460
Friday 30th August we are in CB10.04.460

Other information

You should bring a fully charged laptop or tablet with you and make sure you can access wifi through UTS WPA or eduroam.

The Designing Research Lab will be taught in 2019 by Nick Hopwood

If you have a question about the blocks, preparation, or assessments, use the Subject HelpDesk. This, and all pre-block online discussions will be done through Microsoft Teams. Links should take you to an online page, but you can also download a desktop app which is a bit smoother once you have it running.
